Garudo.in is a multivendor marketplace platform. All shipping, delivery, and logistics for products listed on this platform are the sole responsibility of the respective vendors/sellers. Garudo.in does not directly handle, ship, or deliver any products.

Garudo.in is an online multivendor marketplace that connects buyers with verified vendors and suppliers of building materials across India. We provide a platform for vendors to list and sell their products, but we do not directly sell, stock, or ship any products ourselves.

Each product listed on Garudo.in is sold and fulfilled by the respective independent vendor. The terms of shipping, delivery timelines, and logistics are determined and managed by each vendor individually.

Vendor’s Responsibility for Shipping

Each vendor registered on Garudo.in is fully and independently responsible for:

  • Packing and dispatching orders safely and on time
  • Choosing the appropriate shipping/logistics partner for their products
  • Providing accurate and timely shipping & tracking information to buyers
  • Ensuring products are delivered in good condition
  • Handling delivery failures, delays, or disputes related to shipping
  • Compliance with all applicable transport and shipping regulations
  • Any costs associated with shipping, logistics, or delivery

⚠️ Important: Garudo.in acts only as a facilitating platform. Shipping commitments, timelines, and conditions are set by the vendor — not by Garudo.in.

Shipping Timelines & Availability

Shipping timelines, serviceability of delivery locations, and estimated delivery dates vary from vendor to vendor. These details are displayed on each product listing page by the respective vendor.

  • Estimated delivery times are provided by vendors and are indicative, not guaranteed
  • Delivery may vary based on product type (cement, steel, tiles, etc.), quantity, and destination
  • Bulk building material orders may require special logistics arrangements coordinated directly with the vendor
  • Vendors may have different cut-off times for same-day or next-day dispatch

Shipping Charges

Shipping charges, if applicable, are set and collected by individual vendors. These charges will be clearly displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase. Garudo.in does not add any additional shipping fees on behalf of vendors.

  • Shipping charges vary by vendor, product weight/volume, and delivery location
  • Some vendors may offer free delivery above a certain order value
  • Special delivery arrangements (crane offloading, site delivery, etc.) may attract additional charges as per vendor terms

Order Tracking

Once your order is dispatched, the vendor is responsible for providing shipment tracking details. Tracking information, where available, will be shared with you via email or SMS based on the vendor’s logistics system.

For tracking updates or shipment status inquiries, buyers are advised to contact the respective vendor directly through the order details page on Garudo.in.

Delayed or Failed Deliveries

In the event of a delayed, failed, or incomplete delivery, the responsibility to resolve the issue lies with the respective vendor. Garudo.in is not liable for delays or failures caused by the vendor’s logistics partner, natural calamities, strikes, or any force majeure events.

  • Buyers should first contact the vendor via the platform’s messaging system
  • If the issue is not resolved within a reasonable time, buyers may escalate to Garudo.in support at sales@garudo.in
  • Garudo.in will facilitate communication between buyer and vendor but holds no direct liability for shipping outcomes

Damaged Goods During Transit

Building materials such as tiles, glass, ceramic fixtures, or similar fragile items may occasionally be damaged during transit. In such cases:

  • The vendor is responsible for ensuring proper packaging to minimise transit damage
  • Buyers must document and report damaged goods to the vendor within 24–48 hours of delivery with photo/video evidence
  • Replacement or refund decisions are governed by the individual vendor’s return and damage policy
  • Garudo.in is not liable for any damage incurred during transit

⚠️ Always inspect your delivery at the time of receipt. Do not accept visibly damaged shipments without noting the damage on the delivery receipt.

Returns & Reverse Shipping

Returns and reverse logistics are governed by the individual vendor’s return policy as listed on their store page. Reverse shipping charges, if applicable, may be borne by the buyer or vendor depending on the reason for return and the vendor’s policy.

Garudo.in does not manage or facilitate return pickups directly. Buyers must coordinate returns with vendors through the platform’s order management system.

Garudo.in’s Limitations of Liability

Garudo.in is a technology platform enabling commerce between buyers and sellers. We do not own, warehouse, or ship any products. Accordingly:

  • Garudo.in is not responsible for any shipping delays, losses, or damages
  • Garudo.in does not guarantee delivery timelines stated by vendors
  • Garudo.in is not a party to the shipping contract between the buyer and vendor
  • Any disputes arising from shipping are to be resolved directly between buyer and vendor

💡 Garudo.in reserves the right to take action against vendors who repeatedly fail to meet shipping commitments or engage in malpractice, including suspension from the platform.

Policy Updates

Garudo.in reserves the right to modify this Shipping Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website. Continued use of the platform after policy updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

We encourage all buyers and vendors to review this policy periodically to stay informed of any updates.
